This is the battle field for the firework celebration for the Canada Day. All-in-all, fireworks and happy crowd made me feel very Canadian, very welcomed and cheerful. Yet, I still don’t understand why any celebration has to be followed by crowds of drunk teenagers and young adults.
Because I was too late to buy a tripod before it was sold out, most of the pictures came out blurry. Below are just a few that look good enough to give you a certain feel of Canada Day’s night in Van City.
Although a sea of people was passing by, rushing to get the “best” location to watch the fireworks, the water was still, like nothing was going on.
Some drunken guys were singing “O Canada” on the balcony. I gotta say they were doing it pretty well!
