Cardero’s is located near Stanley Park and offers a delicious variety of seafood and wine. It is not the cheapest place, but the atmosphere, and the dishes make up for the price. Whether it is rainy or sunny, this is a great place to chill and eat.
I would recommend steam mussels for starters, and either salmon, tuna or steak for the main course. Although clam chowder might also sounds tasty, it’s a tomato based one and I just don’t like it. Certainly order some wine to accompany you on the journey.
A meal with appetizer + main dish will cost about 40$ per person (without wine). However, if you are going in a couple, it would be probably best to share the main course. It would save you some money and will probably still be enough for two.
